The Catalan Baroque Orchestra will kick off the X Early Music Season on Sunday, November 10 in Sant Felip Neri with “Overtures and concerts”. The show will begin with a splendid French-style overture by Johann Bernhard Bach, cousin of J.S. Bach, and will offer us two masterpieces, Water Music by G.P. Telemann and the IV Brandenburg Concerto by J.S. Bach.
The Concerto con molti strumenti will also be performed, where we will find a luminous Vivaldi that brings the string and wind instruments into dialogue.
A program full of excellent music that will feature the direction of Manfredo Kraemer and a wide instrumental repertoire: Tiam Goudarzi and Alessandra Riudalbas on the flutes, Daniel Ramírez and Katy Elkin on the oboes and Joaquim Guerra on the bassoon.
